Notion Ink’ Adam tablet coming to CES

Looks cool, no? Well, this CES we’ll have loads more of this beautiful machine because the firm recently announced that it’ll be displaying this device at the upcoming CES show. The Adam tablet is a “Smartpad” designed by a start-up. The 10.1″ touchscreen device measures just 0.6-inch thin and weighs 770g. Interesting thing about this device is that in the making of this device the firm has filed an impressive 67 patents.
It features Pixel Qi display, a low-cost, power-saving screen that consumes just 1/10th power of normal LCD.
Other features include NVIDIA Tegra, 32GB flash memory, GPS, card reader, and a rotatable 3MP webcam.
Another interesting thing about this device is its battery — its Lithium-ion battery will provide up to 48 hours standby, 8hrs of high definition video playback or 16hrs of Internet surfing over WiFi.
It is based on Google’s Android OS.
