NEC LaVie Z 13.3″ ultrabook launched
NEC has rolled out a new ultrabook in its home country of Japan. Dubbed as NEC LaVie Z, it is a 13.3″ ultrabook powered by third generation Intel Core i7/i5 processor. Weighing 875g, the LaVie Z sports a unibody lithium-magnesium alloy chassis measuring just 14.9mm thick.
NEC reports that the LaVie Z offers “Quick Power On” mode which starts ultrabook in just 2 seconds from sleep mode.
Specification include 4GB DDR3 memory, 256GB SSD, and 13.3-inch LED backlit display (1600×900 resolution).
It also provide WiFi, Bluetooth, 720p HD webcam, and 8.1 hours of battery life.
Operating system is Windows 7.
NEC LaVie Z will be available in Japanese market from August 23, 2012 starting at $1,695.
