MSI X460 and X460DX 14″ Laptops Officially Launched

Remember during Computex trade show we told you about the MSI X460 laptop? Well, today MSI officially unveiled MSI X460 and X460DX laptops. Both of them are 14-inchers powered by second generation Intel Core family processors. What is interesting is that in spite of small size (less than 1-inch thin and 1.98Kg weight), they provide powerful features including an integrated DVD burner. The X460 also offer option of Core i7 processor — making it the lightest Intel Core i7 quad core processor packing laptop out there. Also worthy of note, a second internal hard drive is optional with the X460 and X460DX to greatly enlarge storage capacity.
The X460 can pack Intel’s second generation Core i7-2630QM or Core i5-2410M processors and Intel HD Graphics 3000 display chip, while the X460DX comes with Intel Core i5-2410M processor and nVidia GeForce GT540M discrete graphics card. It also supports the latest DirectX 11 for powerful graphics performance.
Common features include up to 8GB DDR3 memory 750GB + 750GB hard drive or optional SSD, and 14″ HD LED backlight display (1366*768).
The X460 and X460DX also provide 802.11b/g/n WLAN, Bluetooth 3.0+HS, Gigabit LAN, USB 3.0 x 2, USB 2.0 x 1, 4 in 1 card reader, Intel Wireless Display technology, HD webcam (30fps@720p), HDMI, VGA, and 6-cell battery.
Operating system is Windows 7.
