• MSI Wind PC introduced

    We told you it was coming. And guess what, MSI has actually displayed a prototype of Eee PC competitor at CeBIT. According to Notebook Italia, the Wind PC is a 10″ widescreen mini laptop targeted to towards professionals who are looking for a secondary notebook.


    Reportedly, its based on Intel Shelton 08 platform with processor frequencies ranging between 1.0 and 1.6GHz. It can be customized with a 2.5-inch hard drive or SSD, 1GB RAM, and 6 cells battery providing about 6/7 hours of battery life. Initially it’ll come with Linux; but Microsoft addicts shouldn’t get worried as Windows based Wind PCs are also planned.
    As for pricing, the base model starts at $460 and goes up to $1,074.
