MSI to launch Intel Diamondville based low cost notebook

We have already heard news regarding Asus Eee PC killer low cost laptop here, here, here and here. The latest to join the list of companies trying to beat Eee PC is MSI. Reportedly Micro Star International is planning to release an ultra-low cost notebook PC based on Intel’s Diamondville microprocessor. No word on specification, but you can expect something similar to Eee PC only.
“When Diamondville is ready, our project will be ready,” said an MSI executive, speaking on condition of anonymity. He indicated that MSI plans to launch its ultra-low cost notebook in July or August, but declined to offer further details.
