MSI GX780 17.3″ gaming notebook unveiled

Planning to buy a mean machine? MSI has a new option for you. The MSI GX780 is a 17.3-inch gaming notebook. It is powered by Intel Core i7-2630QM processor (2.0GHz) and boast of NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M graphics card with 1GB GDDR5 memory. What sets this machine apart from other competing systems is its keyboard. MSI worked with SteelSeries to design a keyboard specifically for the gamer to give you an edge in battle.
Not only is the new keyboard much more durable, the Windows key has been moved to the right side of the keyboard where you’re less likely to strike it when the adrenaline’s pumping. The GX780 also comes with a 30-color LED backlit keyboard with five modes to throttle up your visual experience. It also allows you to execute 10 commands simultaneously.
The GX780 also has four DDR3 slots supporting up to 16GB DDR3 memory and accelerated dual hard disk architecture providing a maximum of 1.5TB storage (750GB x2).
Other features include 17.3″ full HD display, Blu-ray drive, 2x USB 3.0, 3x USB 2.0, eSATA, card reader, HD webcam, Gigabit LAN, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR, and 9-cell Li-Ion battery.
The MSI GX780 supports Windows 7 Ultimate/Professional/Home Premium operating systems.
