• MSI CX640MX 15.6″ notebook released

    MSI recently rolled out a new notebook computer for business users — the MSI CX640MX. Powered by Intel Core “Sandy Bridge” processor, the lappie features NVIDIA GeForce 410M discrete graphics card. What is interesting about this machine is that it packs couple of innovative features including the Time Stamp backup and restore technology, HiFre Antenna signal enhancement technology, SRS PC Sound wrap around sound, and Light Sensor.


    The CX640MX also has a sporty design, integrating an F1 racer-style “push start” button, a slim, tapered, layered profile, a touchpad with crystal diamond finish, hidden hotkeys, a flat silver (black) metal brush finish, and a streamlined ejector button on the DVD player drawer.
    Specification include Intel Core i7-2630QM (2.0GHz) / Core i5-2410M (2.30GHz) / Core i3-2310M (2.10GHz) processor, up to 8GB DDR3 memory, 640GB hard drive, 15.6″ HD (1366×768) LED backlight display, Nvidia GeForce 410M graphics (with 512MB DDR3) and DVD burner.
    Other features include card reader, HDMI, VGA, 4x USB 2.0, 2x USB 3.0, 802.11 b/g/n WLAN, Bluetooth v3.0 + HS, Gigabit LAN, 1.3MP webcam and 6/8 cell battery.
    The MSI CX640MX is based on Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.
    No word on pricing and availability.
