LUKID Classmate PC launched in Korea

Daewoo Lucoms recently unveiled a mini laptop for education segment, based on Intel’s Classmate PC design. The LUKID is a low-cost notebook computer for Korean students. The 9-inch laptop is powered by an Intel Celeron processor (900MHz) and comes with 512MB of RAM, 30GB HDD, and Windows XP. It also supports wireless LAN, SD card slot and USB port. Its available in Korean market for about $530.
