Today LG joined the party with HP, Asus, Fujitsu, Compal, and Dell by launching five new Santa Rosa laptops. The 15.4-inch R500 and E500 includes 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 processor, 2GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce 8600M GS (256M) or 8400M GS (128MB) graphics card, max 160GB hard drive, 802.11n, and DVD super multi drive. The R405 sports similar specs except 14.1-inch display. The 12.1-inch R200 is a portable laptop with 2GHz C2D T7300 chip, ATI Mobility Radeon X2300HD graphic card with 128MB memory, and same remaining config.

The 15-inch MB500 offers same specs as R200 except Nvidia GeForce 8400M GS 128MB graphics. The R500, E500, and R405 series will be up for grab from tomorrow while R200 and MB500 will be introduced next month in the Korean market.
