Lenovo ThinkPad T420s, T420, T520, L420, L520 and W520 Laptops Unveiled
We knew Lenovo was working on new ThinkPad laptops. And guess what? Today Lenovo indeed updated its ThinkPad family. The new released ThinkPad laptops are — the Lenovo ThinkPad T420s, T420, T520, L420, L520 and W520. Lenovo reports that the new laptops offer a host of new features including HD video and voice calling, smart PC features for power and performance management, and all-day battery life.
The new laptops incorporate self-aware and adaptive technologies to sense where power is needed most to ensure priority components receive power for improved overall performance and battery life. According to Lenovo’s estimate, ThinkPad T420 delivers up to 15 hours of battery life with its standard 9-cell battery! What’s interesting about this machine is that it offers optional optical bay battery, providing up to 30 hours of battery run time!
Features include 2nd generation Intel Core and Core vPro processors, optional encrypted hard drives, fingerprint reader, and Intel Anti-Theft Technology. The ThinkPad T and W series also feature NVIDIA Optimus automatic graphic switching technology.
The laptops also feature Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0 for Windows 7 that allows users to start their laptop on average 20 seconds faster than a typical Windows 7 computer.
The ThinkPad T, L and W Series will be available starting in March. Pricing for the T420s, T420, T520, L420, L520 and W520 starts at approximately $1,329, $779, $909, $719, $719 and $1329, respectively.
