Lenovo IdeaPad netbook based on Intel Pineview processor hits FCC

lenovo_ideapad-netbook.jpg Intel is yet to officially release the Pineview platform, but the Lenovo IdeaPad "FL5-B3" netbook which is based on the said platform has hit the FCC website. In fact as the release date for Pineview (January 2010) comes near, we'll see many computing machines based on the newest Intel architecture.

Except for the processor, other features are quite standard.

The 10.1" netbook uses a 1.66GHz Intel Pineview processor (Atom N450), and features 2GB RAM, 250GB HDD, webcam, and glossy piano black.

Another interesting thing about this device is that it doesn't feature any trackpad buttons, which suggests some king of integrated clicking.

No word on availability, but as Intel will only unveil the Pineview in January 2010 no chance of this baby getting released before that.
