Lenovo G455 and G555 notebooks announced

lenovo_g560-laptop.jpg Lenovo today updated its G-Series notebook line up with two new affordable machines. The Lenovo G455 and G555 are based on an AMD platform featuring innovative Lenovo software to improve the overall computing experience. Both of them feature couple of Lenovo applications such as OneKey Rescue System and Energy Management.

Other features include support for up to AMD Turion II Dual-Core processor, ATI Radeon HD integrated graphics, 16:9 widescreen High-Definition display, ergonomic keyboard, webcam with VeriFace facial recognition, and Windows 7 operating system.

The Lenovo G455 and G555 notebooks start at $449 and will be available in the U.S. beginning in March.
