Lenovo ThinkPad tablet with Windows 8 detailed

We know Lenovo is working on a new ThinkPad tablet with Windows 8 operating system. In fact back in June Lenovo even showcased ThinkPad tablet at the Computex show. Now it has come to light that Lenovo has submitted this tablet at FCC for certification which in turn mean that the tablet will be out in market pretty soon.

At the same time an official Lenovo document has been leaked on internet which claims that the tablet is better than iPad for business professionals.

So what are the features that the iPad doesn’t have but Lenovo ThinkPad has? Fingerprint reader, stylus pen, stereo speakers, dual mic, 8MP rear camera, HD front camera, SD card slot, USB, NFC, and HDMI.

Core specification include dual-core Intel Clover Trail processor, 2GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a 10.1-inch WXGA display (1366 x 768).

Though there’s no official word on availability, it is fair to assume the tablet will be available after October 26 when Microsoft releases Windows 8 OS.
