Lenovo IdeaPad Y, IdeaPad Z, G Series Laptops Announced
Lenovo has updated its IdeaPad Y, IdeaPad Z, and G series laptops with a total of 8 new models. New IdeaPad Y series laptops are IdeaPad Y480 and Y580, and new IdeaPad Z series laptops are Z580, Z480 and Z380. The three new G Series laptops G480, G580 and G780.
Tthe new IdeaPad Y480 (14″) and Y580 (15″) laptops are powered by the Intel Core processor family and feature full HD display, up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M 2GB GDDR5 graphics, Dolby Home Theatre V4 enhanced audio, JBL designed speakers, back-lit keyboard, HD camera, optional TV tuner and Intel WiDi technology.
The new IdeaPad Z Series laptops comes with smart features like the Intelligent Touchpad for easy scroll, zoom and rotate functions, and the Lenovo OneKey Rescue System for simple data backup and recovery.
The IdeaPad Z580 (15.6″), Z480 (14″) and Z380 (13.3″) laptops also support up to NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M 2GB graphics with DirectX 11, backlit LED HD display (1366×768), integrated DVD reader or Blu-ray Disc drive, HD graphics, Intel WiDi technology and HDMI.
The three new G Series laptops G480 (14″), G580 (15.6″) and G780 (17.3″) come with HD screens, OneKey Rescue System for simple data backup and recovery, and Veriface facial recognition.
The new IdeaPad Z Series and Y Series laptops will be available in April from $599 and $899, respectively. The new Lenovo G Series laptops will be available beginning in June from $399.
