Intel trying to reduces prices of netbooks from $299 to $249
Think $299 netbooks are pretty affordable? Well, thanks to Intel you might be able to buy a netbook for only $249! Yes, this is actually true. Intel is currently is a process of launching two budget CPUs, which will ultimately reduce the prices of typical netbook PCs. For this price you'll get an Intel Atom N450 processor (1.66GHz), NM10 southbridge, integrated graphics, 1GB RAM, WLAN, and 16 to 20GB SSD drives or alternative 120GB hard drives.
As for screen size, it'll vary from 7" to 10.2".
Finally, the machines are expected to features Intel's very own Moblin Linux operating system. But of course, consumers will also get option of Windows XP Home and WIndows 7 OS.
