HP ProBook 5310m "world's thinnest" notebook

hp_ProBook-5310m.jpg These days there are many notebooks who are competing for the title of world's thinnest notebook computer. The latest machine to claim that title is HP's ProBook 5310m. According to HP, the HP ProBook 5310m is the world’s thinnest full-performance notebook. It is a 0.9-inch thin, 3.7 pound notebook sporting a 13.3-inch diagonal LED high-definition display and a standard voltage processor for maximum productivity.

It combines durable, black anodized aluminum with a magnesium frame wrapped in soft-touch paint.

The HP ProBook 5310m starts at $699 with an Intel Celeron dual core and $899 with Intel Core 2 Duo and is available immediately in the Asia-Pacific region with the Microsoft Vista operating system.

The notebook is expected to be available in America on Oct. 22 with the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system.
