HP Pavilion tx1000

If you fancy the twisting-screen laptops with good computing power, than may be you can consider the HP's new baby which will be out by this February. Regular reader of Pclaunches might remember that at the end of December we told you about this laptop, but at that time the main specs were not available. Rated 4/5 stars by Laptop Magazine, it features a 1.8-GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 mobile processor, a 12.1-inch display with 1280 x 800 resolution, 2GB RAM, and 160GB HDD. The design of this 4.2-pound notebook looks very similar to HP tc1100. Sadly the Nvidia GeForce Go 6150 graphics uses shared memory, unlike the card in tc1100. It also includes dual layer DVD writer with LightScribe, a webcam, Altec Lansing speakers, finger print scanner, 5-in-1 card reader, dual headphone jacks, an HP mini remote control, WiFi, twin omni-directional microphones and Media Center for organizing and accessing your pictures. The tx1000 runs on Window Vista and is priced at $1,720.
