HP Pavilion series - four new laptops announced

HP Japan has launched four new notebooks in their famous Pavilion series, all of them comes with Windows Vista. The dv9200/CT (pictured above) looks like a gaming laptop. Powered by 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, it packs a 17-inch WSXGA+ display (1,680×1,050 resolution), 1GB RAM, 120GB HDD, HDMI terminal, and a DVD super multiple drive. The computational gaming power is provided by NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 (512MB) graphics card. It comes with four USB ports, ExpressCard, memory stick, 802.11a/b/g wireless, Gigabit Ethernet, and Bluetooth. Boosting 2.5 hours of battery life, it weights about 3.52kg. It will cost you about $1,397. The dv6200/CT is a low cost notebook for multimedia users. It features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 (256MB), 15.4-inch WXGA display, up to 2GB RAM, 80GB hard drive, and DVD drive. The lappie will run you for $698 for a base configuration.

The tx1000/CT is tablet PC which features a 12.1-inch display with 1,280×800 resolution. The display also provides few multimedia button for easy and fast access of multimedia applications. It's specs include a 1.6GHz AMD Turion 64 processor, NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 (with in-built video functionality), up to 2GB memory, 80GB HDD, and DVD super multiple drive. The approximate price of this tablet is $1,081.
The G5000 is a low cost laptop which packs an Intel Celeron M 430 processor, Intel 940GML Express (video functional built-in), a 15.4" WXGA display, 512MB (maximum 2GB) RAM, 80GB HDD and DVD drive. It will run you for about $624.
