If rumor mills are to be believed then Hewlett-Packard is working on two new handheld devices which will be based on Windows Mobile 6 Professional Edition. The iPAQ 600 smart-phone series comes with 2.8-inch touchscreen and boosts an iPod-like touch sensitive navigation wheel to quickly scroll through documents/websites. It includes 520MHz Marvell PXA270 (Bulverde) processor, 128MB RAM, 256MB ROM, 3 mega pixel camera, a numeric keypad, HSDPA, b/g wireless, Bluetooth 2.0, and GPS. The iPAQ 900 sports similar specification except a QWERTY keyboard.

The official press release is expected in September with availability later this year.
