Targeted towards back-to-school crowd, the 15.6-inch notebook is a really basic machine but it is the price-tag which is damn attractive. Powered by Intel Celeron 2.2GHz processor, the HP Compaq Presario CQ60 is selling for $299.99.

Specification include 2GB DDR2 memory, 250GB hard drive, DVD burner, 15.6-inch widescreen display with 1366x768 resolution, Intel GMA 4500M integrated graphics, and 6-cell battery.

Other features include WiFi, Ethernet, and 3x USB ports.

The machine runs Windows 7 Home Premium and is priced at $299.99.
