HP Compaq 8510w and 8710w mobile workstations announced

Today HP officially announced two new Santa Rosa based mobile workstations in Compaq series which were leaked about two months back. The 15.4-inch 8510w ($2600) (pictured above) features Core 2 Duo T7100/T7300T7500/T7700 processor, up to 4GB RAM, 120GB 7200 rpm hard drive, 1920 x 1200 resolution, Nvidia Quadro FX 570M graphics card with 256MB memory or ATI Mobility FireGL V5600 graphics (256MB), dual layer DVD burner or Blu-Ray, 802.11a/b/g/n wireless, Bluetooth, fingerprint reader, and Vista. The 17-inch 8710w ($2500) comes with similar specifications except Nvidia Quadro FX 1600M graphics with up to 512MB.
