At the Computex we saw quite a few tablets based on Windows 8 as well as Windows RT operating systems. Now word on internet has it HP has decided not to enter ARM + Windows RT market and will instead focus on Windows 8 operating system for its upcoming tablets.
HP sticking to x86 platform is a good news for Intel as it’ll get to sell chips to HP for use in Windows 8 tablets.
Dubbed as HP Slate 8, the tablet is designed for business users and offers a 10.1-inch multi-touch display.
Measuring just 9.2mm thin, the tablet weighs 680g and provides up to 10 hours of battery life.
That’s all for now, but stay tuned as we’ll fill you in as soon as we learn more.
