HP to launch two hybrid tablets and a business tablet
We already know that HP is developing a business tablet dubbed as HP Slate based on upcoming Windows 8 operating system. But recently at an earning call, HP CEO Meg Whitman revealed that her firm will also launch two new hybrid tablets.
Whitman said, “We are under attack by very strong competitive pressures and we are going to respond. The company will respond with two tablets, if you will, combined with laptops for the consumer space.”
The hybrid tablets will be very much like a slate tablet but with in-built physically QWERTY keyboard.
As for HP Slate, the tablet will feature a 10.1-inch multi-touch display while measuring just 9.2mm thin and weighing 680g.
