HP SpectreXT TouchSmart and Envy TouchSmart ultrabooks announced
In addition to HP Envy x2 tablet, HP launched two ultrabooks at the IFA show. Dubbed as HP SpectreXT TouchSmart (15.6″) and Envy TouchSmart (14″), the new ultrabooks sport multi-touch displays, latest Intel processors, and Windows 8 operating system.
The HP SpectreXT TouchSmart ultrabook measures 17.9mm thin and weighs 4.77 pounds, and features all-metal design featuring edge-to-edge glass, a soft-touch base for comfort and grip, a glass touchpad and tilted speakers with Beats Audio for optimal sound.
On the other hand the HP Envy TouchSmart ultrabook offers a 14-inch multitouch HD display, backlit keyboard, up to 8 hours of battery life, a booming subwoofer with Beats Audio and an optional AMD graphics card with 2 GB of graphics, while measuring 23 mm thin and weighing 4.77 pounds.
Both of them feature upto 8GB DDR3 memory, solid state drive, Intel Thunderbolt technology, Intel Anti-Theft Technology, webcam, WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0 and HDMI.
The HP SpectreXT TouchSmart Ultrabook will be available from December start at $1,399.99, while the HP ENVY TouchSmart Ultrabook will be available for holidays. Pricing is yet to be revealed.
