• Gigabyte S1081 tablet, T1006M convertible notebook launched

  • Gigabyte has announced two new products at CES — the Gigabyte S1081 tablet and T1006M convertible notebook. The first one is a 10.1″ slate tablet with Windows 7 operating system, while the second one is a 10.1″ convertible tablet notebook.

    Gigabyte S1081 is designed for business users and is powered by the latest Intel Atom Cedar Trail platform. It also provide a 10.1-inch multi-touch display, optical trackpad, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0, 1.3MP webcam, HDMI, VGA, and Windows 7 operating system. The slate comes in two variants — 500GB hard drive model and an SSD model.

    A docking station has also been designed for the S1081 and it comes with a DVD drive and a powerful audio system, including two stereo and two woofer speakers. It also comes with many useful ports.

    On the other hand the Gigabyte T1006M is a premium 10.1″ convertible tablet notebook powered by Intel Atom Cedar Trail platform. Features include a capacitive multi-touch display (1366×768), WiFi, 3.5G, USB 3.0 and a 6-cell battery.
