Gateway has unveiled their holiday line up which consists of two laptops and one desktop PC. The P series notebooks could be a good buy if you want a large screen machine at a reasonable price. Both of them comes with 17-inch widescreen display and "a new eye-catching design." The P-6301 ($800) is a basic notebook with Pentium Dual Core T2310 processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB hard drive, GMA X3100 graphics, dual layer DVD drive, 5-in-1 memory card reader, 802.11g wireless, and Vista.

The Santa Rosa based P-6822 ($950) provides similar specifications except 250GB hard drive, HDMI, and 1.3mp camera.

The GT5628 ($950) is a powerful desktop with Core 2 Quad Q6600 chip, Intel Viiv chipset, NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT graphics with 256MB, 3GB RAM, 500GB HDD, dual layer DVD burner, 7.1 channel high-definition audio, USB powered stereo speakers, multimedia keyboard, mouse, and Vista.
