Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Xi 2550 and 2428 notebooks to run on Intel Penryn

fujitsu-siemens_amilo-xi2428-2.jpg Fujitsu is one of the first company to start the transition to the next-generation 45nm Intel Penryn processors. So after unveiling 12.1-inch LOOX R, the firm has planned two more Penryn notebooks under Fujitsu Siemens brand. The Amilo Xi 2550 and 2428 are based on Santa Rosa platform and features Core 2 Duo T8300 (2.4GHz) and T9300 (2.6GHz) respectively.

Both of them comes with 2GB RAM, 250GB hard drive, 15.4 inch WXGA (1280 x 800) BrilliantView display, dual layer DVD burner, webcam, HDMI, and Vista Premium Edition. The Amilo Xi 2428 ships with NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS 256MB while the 2550 sports ATI Mobility Radeon HD2400 128MB. Both will retail from next month with a starting price of $1,763.
