Fujitsu today announced the release of the new FMV-BIBLO LOOX U/C50N Eco environment friendly notebook PC that supports Japan’s Green Power Certification System. This is the first notebook in Japan to support country's Power Certificate System, and is available now from Web Mart online store beginning today. So wondering what's the Power Certificate System? Well, for each FMV-BIBLO LOOX U/C50N Eco sold, Fujitsu will purchase a Green Power Certificate equivalent to the total electricity the PC will consume in the course of its operating lifespan. What's more, the notebook sports environment friendly designed as well. The lid of the notebook features an original planet-themed design.

When customers use their notebooks, the electricity consumed will be regarded as green energy, that is generated from renewable sources and results in zero net CO2 emissions.

Fujitsu reports, the funds used to purchase Green Power Certificates will help sustain green power generation and expand the spread of renewable energy.

The electricity consumed by this notebook PC in the course of its operating lifespan would normally result in approximately 18 kg of CO2 emissions.
