Everex Introduces Energy Efficient Laptop
Everex Systems has announced the StepNote NC1500 notebook, to be powered by advanced VIA C7-M processor. The notebook consumes 12W peak power, thus providing ultra-low power consumption. The VIA Enhanced PowerSaver™ technology and VIA TwinTurbo™ allows the laptop to dynamically transition between intermediate power states, providing users with 20% longer battery life than comparable systems. The laptop provides 512MB of RAM, 60GB hard drive, DVD combo, 15.4” 1280 x 800 (WXGA) display with DiamondBrite Technology. The NC1500 comes with Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition with Service Pack 2.
