Dell XPS M1330 and Inspiron 1420, 1520/1521, and 1720/1721 laptops now available
Finally today we got an official word on Dell’s new notebooks. As I’ve reported earlier the firm has announced four new laptops – XPS M1330 and Inspiron 1420, 1520/1521, and 1720/1721. The 13.3-inch M1330 ($1,299) comes with Intel Core 2 Duo T5250/T7100/T7300/T7500 processor, up to 4GB RAM, max 200GB hard drive (optional 32GB SSD), DVD burner, Intel X3100 graphics or Nvidia GeForce Go 8400M GS graphics card with 128MB memory, a/g/n wireless, HDMI, McAfee anti virus software and Vista. The 14.1-inch Inspiron 1420 ($819) offers same specs except 160GB hard drive and 2.0 mega-pixel webcam.
The 15.4-inch 1520/1521 ($769) notebook features above mentioned Intel C2D or dual core AMD Turion TL-50/TL-56/TL-64 chip, 160GB hard drive, above mention graphics card or GeForce Go 8600M GT with 256MB / ATI Radeon Xpress 1270, and same other specs. The 17-inch Inspiron 1720/1721 ($919) is similar to 1520/1521 except it includes 500GB hard drive, and dual layer DVD burner.
