Dell XPS 15z laptop goes official
Finally the 15.6-inch Dell XPS 15z lappie is out! Based on second generation Core family processors, the machine measures 0.97-inch thick and weighs 2.51Kg. What is interesting about this machine is that in spite of it’s thinness, it packs an integrated slot-loaded optical drive! Now this is really interesting, no?
Flagship features include 15.6-inch Full HD (1080p) display, backlit keyboard with adjustable brightness, USB 3.0, NVIDIA graphics with 3DTV play capabilities, and up to eight hours of battery life.
Housed in a luxurious, eye-catching and elegantly crafted case, the XPS 15z seems to be a perfect multi-media notebook.
Base model is priced at $999 and offer Core i5-2410M processor (2.30GHz), 15.6″ HD (720P) WLED Display with Webcam, 6GB DDR3 memory, 500GB 7200RPM hard drive, DVD burner, 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT525M graphics card, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, 8-Cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery, and Windows 7.
