Dell's Vostro line up of PCs includes four notebooks and two dekstops. The laptops starts with lower-end Vostro 1000 model ($449) that comes with 15.4-inch display, 2.0GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 dual dore TL-60 processor, up to 2GB RAM, 120GB hard drive, 1280x800 resolution, ATI Radeon Xpress 1150, DVD combo, a/g/n wireless, and Vista. It'll be a good buy for a home user whos tight on budget. The 14.1" Vostro 1400 ($549) comes with 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 processor, up to 4GB RAM, 160GB hard drive, 1440x900 resolution, Nvidia GeForce Go 8400M GS graphics with 128MB memory, DVD combo, wireless, and Vista. The 15.4-inch Vostro 1500 ($549) is similarly specsed except 1680x1050 resolution, and Nvidia GeForce Go 8600M GT with 256MB. The 17-inch Vostro 1700 ($799) is the most expensive of the lot with 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo T7700 processor, 1920x1200 resolution, 320GB hard drive, and same other specs.

The desktop series features Vostro 200 Mini Tower ($319) and Vostro 200 Slim Tower ($349). The first one comes with 2.6GHz Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 processor, up to 4GB RAM, max 1TB hard drive, Nvidia GeForce 8600GT 256MB, DVD drive, keyboard, mouse, and Vista. The Vostro 200 Slim Tower comes with same config except 640GB hard drive, and ATI Radeon X1300 Pro graphics card.
