Dell Latitude XT2 XFR 12.1" rugged tablet PC with multi-touch display goes official!

In the last week we didn't had much information on this baby except that it features a rugged structure and is targeted towards business professionals working on sites.

And guess what, that info was bang on mark.

The Dell XT2 XFR is reportedly industry’s smallest 12.1-inch rugged convertible tablet PC that is the first with a multi-touch display.

According to Dell, the system is designed to meet the unique and demanding needs of customers in the military, police, border patrol, field service organizations, factory fulfillment and first responders.

Specification include Intel Core 2 Duo SU9600 (1.60GHz) processor, up to 5GB of DDR3 1066 MHz memory, 12.1-inch LED display with capacitive multi-touch, 128GB SSD or 160GB HDD, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD, fingerprint reader, webcam, GPS, wireless LAN 802.11 a/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, mobile broadband, and Windows 7.

The XT2 XFR is now available starting at $3,599 -- too expensive for most users!
