BenQ recently announced a new JoyBook, the S57. The latest BenQ machine is an HD-ready laptop delivering "uncompromised indulgence of today’s advanced multimedia content." Specification-wise the S57 is a nice 15.6" laptop. At the core, its an Intel Core 2 Duo machine relying on AMD ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 for its graphics power. Interesting features include HDMI, discrete GPU, TruSurround HD, and 8ms response, time, 220nits 16:9 LED screen.
