BenQ has changed -- their press release is much better now (with product config and high resolution pictures) and their latest JoyBook includes decent specifications. The JoyBook's 15.4-inch UltraVivid widescreen LCD display comes with 8ms response time and 1280x800 WXGA resolution. The JoyBook R56 is based on Santa Rosa platform with Core 2 Duo T7100 processor, Nvidia GeForce 8400M G graphics card (max 895MB memory), up to 2GB RAM, 160GB hard drive, dual layer DVD burner, HDMI, a/b/g/n wireless, built-in dual speakers, a subwoofer, 1.3 mega pixel webcam, and Vista. No word on pricing and availability.
