These tablets are much more consumer oriented and smarter in terms of hardware. B & N have surely surprised in terms of hardware package as both these tab are far more lighter, have comfortable grip and fairly priced compared to other competition. Also the screen quality is sharp with both the 1440 x 900 of the HD and the 1920 x 1280 of the HD+ thanks to optically laminated glass.

    The Nook HD will cost £159 for the 8GB version or £189 for the 16GB edition, while the 9-inch Nook HD+ is priced at £229 (16GB) and £269 (32GB). Both of them will be available for pre-order in October with shipment starting in November.
