Averatec Voya Semi Rugged Notebooks Released
Averatec today introduced two new semi ruggedized notebooks under a new Voya Series. The Voya 4473 is a 14.1″ standard notebook, while the larger Voya 6494 has 15.4″ widescreen display. Both of them offers robust drop and vibration resistance in addition to a spill resistant keyboard and touchpad. According to Averatec, the Voya line of notebooks are designed with sturdiness in mind and boasts magnesium alloy outer cases, corner bumpers, and an anti-shock mounted hard drive.
The Voya series features Intel Core 2 Duo processor, GMA graphics, up to 4GB RAM, wireless, Bluetooth, DVD burner, and Windows Vista.
Both of them will be available shortly through Averatec’s website with a starting price of $1300.
