• Augmentix XTG630 rugged notebook


  • Augmentix has announced a new “mission-critical” rugged laptop for military, industrial, government and commercial customers. The “industry’s first widescreen fully-rugged notebook” is based on Dell’s Latitude mobile platform and comes with Augmentix Armored Protection System which includes a dense magnesium exoskeleton, over-mold protection system, and patent-pending QuadCool thermal management system. It’s also equipped with DirectVue display technology that dramatically improves viewability in direct sunlight. Based on Intel Santa Rosa platform, the XTG630 features Core 2 Duo processor (up to 2.4GHz), 1280×800 resolution, max 4GB RAM, GMA X3100 graphics, 80GB hard drive, 32GB SSD, DVD burner, fingerprint reader, Bluetooth, a/b/g wireless, GPS, EDVO Rev A, HSDPA 3.6, and Vista.
