Asus ultra-thin notebooks based on new 45nm Intel processors coming next week
Sources out of Taiwan indicate that ASUS will soon introduce new ultra-thin notebook computers, powered by Intel's new generation 45nm processors. No word on product numbers or specific details but it is known that new ASUS machines will make use of Intel Celeron 743 and SU2300 processors.
These two are Intel's newest 45nm entry-level processors, priced at $107 and $134, respectively.
According to Digitimes, the new ASUS ultra-thin notebooks will be out on 7 September 2009.
Initially the new models will ship to Taiwan, China and Europe.
No word on pricing.
