Looks like ASUS has prepared well in advance for the CeBIT show. Soon after kicking couple of products yesterday, the firm today announced two more notebook computers, the U and UX Series Notebooks. Both of them are pretty high on style and features newly-adopted illuminated ‘chiclet’ keyboard that lights up brilliantly, providing users with the ability to type in the dark. The U Series is a stylish 15.6″ laptop designed for multimedia users who’re looking for a stylish notebook with nice specification and doesn’t mind paying premium price for it. It is based on Intel Core 2 Duo processor, and features 15.6-inch LED backlit display, 500GB HDD, dedicated NVIDIA GeForce G 105M with 512MB memory, and SRS true surround sound.

According to ASUS, the UX Series’ strikingly slim profile adds to an impressively minimalistic approach to avant garde notebook design. A slot-in optical disc drive helps the UX Series to maintain its elegant profile, while a contrast of matte and gloss finishes provides a sense of both sophistication and boldness.
    Stay tuned for detail specification.
