The 12.1-inch ultra portable sports Santa Rosa platform, in addition to a fingerprint reader, SmartLogon face recognition technology, built-in webcam + microphone, 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless, LED backlight, and few ASUS exclusive softwares.

The U6 comes in two versions -- the U6S (brown) and the U6E (white). Other features includes Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB RAM, 160GB hard drive, NVIDIA GeForce 8400 graphics, dual layer DVD burner, HDMI, 8-in-1 media card reader, Bluetooth, and Vista. Both of them are now available with a starting price of $1,749.
