Asus has launched an ultra-portable notebook that packs a slim 11.1-inch display, and all the goodies available while keeping weight under 1.78 pound. Featuring 1.06GHz U2400 Core Duo processor, it boosts an 11.1-inch WXGA (1360×768) LCD display, up to 1.5GB RAM and 80GB HDD. Set for global release in mid-February, it offers fingerprint reader, motion sensor and HDD protection for added security. While keeping weight as light as possible, it was still able to pack Bluetooth, WiFi, a webcam, external optical multi-drive and even a port replicator. No word on which graphic processor it includes but I am sure it won’t disappoint gamers. The lappie comes with Vista and a price tag of $2,199 for a base configuration.
