Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime tablet launched

We knew Asus was going to launch Eee Pad Transformer 2 tablet. And guess what today the Taiwanese firm went official with its latest slate tablet — the Transformer Prime. This one’s a 10.1-inch tablet.
Though details are very scarce, we know that the Eee Pad Transformer Prime is powered by quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor and runs on Android 3.0 Honeycomb system but will be upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system by year end.
The tablet measures only 8.3mm thick, and provides SD slot and mini-HDMI port.
