ASUS sells Eee PCs in record time
I am sure ASUS's chariman and Eee PC team are loving it! Soon after Asus started booking orders through various online / offline retailers the sales figure has been spectacular. Yahoo leads the pack by selling 50 models in 210 seconds -- one PC getting booked every 4.2 seconds. On Taiwan's shopping channel "ETTV" 200 units were sold in 20 minutes. Thats one piece sold every 6 seconds.
Also Taiwan's 3C Company Tsann Kuen reported sales of 99 pieces of Eee PCs in 30 mins, that's 1 unit sold every 18.18 seconds. Another good news for ASUS is that an unspecified government will buy a million Eee PC for kids.
