Asus R1E tablet PC coming soon
Asus is planning to launch a new tablet PC. Nothing out of the world, but it does pack useful features. Actually it's a good buy for business users or SOHO professionals as it includes the required configuration. The 13.3-inch Santa Rosa based R1E comes with Core 2 Duo T7100/T7300/T7500 processor, up to 4GB RAM, 160GB hard drive, 1280×800 resolution, dual layer DVD burner, GMA X3100 graphics, a/b/g/n wireless, Bluetooth, fingerprint reader, and Vista.

The fact of the matter is that Asus has released a slighty updated re-hash of a product which has left alot of people frustrated, ripped-off and they could not care less about their customers. The R1 series suffers from faulty batteries, parts faling off and downright disgraceful service.
