ASUS N, K, U Series laptops introduced
Just as CES is about to begin ASUS came out with three new laptop series. The newest notebooks from the house of ASUS are launched under its N, K and U series. Powered by the new Intel Core processors, these notebooks are designed to provide the best in mobile multimedia entertainment, comfort and style. The new N Series (pictured above) features USB 3.0 connectivity, SonicMaster audio technology, and Video Magic that upscales the resolution of conventional DVDs up to 1080p high definition quality resulting in an improved viewing experience. K Series notebooks are user-friendly companions for everyday use, with added touches such as Palm Proof Technology, ASUS Power4Gear Hybrid and an ergonomic keyboard. Lastly, the new U Series Bamboo Collection continues to utilize natural materials to convey a sense of exquisite taste that no other notebook can match along with an Eco-friendly design.
Models under N Series are N61Ja, N61Jq, and N61Jv. Specification include Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processor, up to 8GB RAM, 16.0-inch 16:9 LED backlight (1366 x 768) display, 640GB HDD, Wireless, Bluetooth, Blu-ray drive, 2MP webcam, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 with 1GB DDR3 VRAM or NVIDIA GeForce GT 325M with 1GB DDR3 VRAM graphics card, and Windows 7.
Models under U Bamboo Series are U33Jt (13.3″), U83Jc (14″), U53F (15.6″), and U53Jc (15.6″). Specification include HD Slim Type LED backlight (1366 x 768) display, Core i3/i5/i7 processor, up to 4GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 310M with 1GB VRAM and Intel GMA HD (switchable graphics), 640GB HDD, 2MP webcam, and Windows 7.
Models under K-Series include K42Jr (15.6″), K42F (15.6″), K52Jr (15.6″), K52F (15.6″), K72Jr (17.3″), and K72F (17.3″). Even the K-series provides the same specification as N- and U-Series.
