Asus Eee PC X101H netbook reaches FCC

Remember the Asus Eee PC X101 $200 netbook computer based on MeeGo “Linux” operating system? Well, Asus is planning to launch a variant of that model, but with Windows 7 operating system. Reportedly, the Eee PC X101H has reached FCC, which suggest a US launch.
As it is a variant of Eee PC X101, it may sport similar chassis which is uber thin at 0.7-inch and weighs just 950g.
Expected feature include an Intel Atom processor, 10.1-inch widescreen display, hybrid hard drive or SSD, Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, 2 USB ports, SD card slot, webcam and VGA.
No word on when the Eee PC X101H will hit American stores, but we’ll let you know as and when Asus announces the availability.
