    Asus has started selling Eee PC R011PX netbook running Ubuntu Linux operating system in Germany. Priced at $300 (€209), the netbook is powered by Intel Atom N455 1.6GHz processor and provide other standard features. What is interesting is that the Windows 7 version cost €250, making this baby almost €40 cheaper.


    Other features include 2GB DDR3 memory, 320GB hard drive, 10.1-inch widescreen LED-backlit display and Intel GMA 3150 graphics.
    The Eee PC R011PX also provide Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, 0.3MP webcam, card slot, 3 x USB 2.0 ports, VGA and 3-cell battery.
    Operating system is Ubuntu Desktop Edition version 10.10.
    The Eee PC R011PX is priced at €209.
