ASUS Eee PC 1001PQ, 1015PD netbooks launched
Its been long since Aus updated its Eee PC line up. But today the firm silently introduced two new models — the ASUS Eee PC 1001PQ (pictured above) and 1015PD. Both of them are 10-inch netbook. The first one is more stylish while the second one is more powerful. So there’s something for everyone.
If you’re high on fashion then check out the Eee PC 1001PQ. Drawing inspiration from seashells, the lightweight ASUS 1001PQ’s sleek curves and smooth lines are designed for the young, as well as the young-at-heart. The Flame Purple or Vibrant Gold finish of the 1001PQ comes fully customizable with stickers, allowing pre-adolescents to express themselves and their personality.
The Eee PC 1001PQ features 10.1″ LED Backlight WSVGA Screen (1024×600), Intel Atom N450 processor, up to 2GB DDR2 RAM, 160GB/250GB hard drive, WiFi, Bluetooth, 0.3MP webcam, 6-cell battery providing 9hours of battery juice and Windows 7 Starter.
On the other hand the Eee PC 1015PD is a lot more powerful featuring Intel Atom N455/N475 processor. It also provides 2GB DDR3 memory, 320GB hard drive, and 2x USB3.0 ports.Other features remain same.
