Asus Vivo Tab and Vivo Tab RT tablets unveiled
Asus already has few tablets in its portfolio, but during IFA event it unveiled two new tablets based on Windows 8 and Windows RT operating systems. The Vivo Tab is an 11.6″ tablet with Intel processor and Windows 8, while the Vivo Tab RT is a 10,1″ tablet with NVIDIA processor and Windows RT. Both of them features multi-touch Super IPS+ Corning Fit Glass display, a detachable QWERTY keyboard dock, and a secondary battery.
Talking about the Asus Vivo Tab (pictured above), it is powered by Intel Atom processor and provides 2GB RAM, 64GB eMMC storage, 1366*768 resolution, 10-point multi-touch display, and a Wacom digitiser.
On the other hand the Asus Vivo Tab RT (pictured below) is powered by NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor and features 2GB RAM, 32GB eMMC, and 1366*768 resolution, 10-point multi-touch display.
Common features include WiFi, Bluetooth, card reader, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, gyroscope, NFC, GPS, e-compass, and g-sensor.
Though there’s no word on pricing, we know that the Asus Vivo Tab and Asus Vivo Tab RT will be available from October end.
